Sexing the City!

I finally saw Sex and the City 2! And I left the theatre very satisfied. Not only did I learn about what it really means to love, but I learned what it means to be honest, and to not buy things on the black market, and to be modest 🙂

I have never watched a full episode the tv series sex and the city, but I was dragged along by a friend to see the first film, and when I saw the trailer for Sex and the City 2, I knew I had to see it!

As it turns out my older sister has watched the tv series but never saw the first movie, so after filling her in on the missing pieces from the first movie, we set off to see SATC2 at the AMC Star John R, (Located on 14 mile and John R).  My bestie and I are always going to this theater, the service is phenomenal! Not only are the employees here polite, but they try to make friendly conversation (when the line isn’t out the door).

but anywho! This movie was hilarious! It sparked my interest with each character. Samantha is my absolute favorite, with her witty comments and her candor advice, she reminds me a lot of myself.  This film brought a few issues to the forefront, one being is kissing another individual, while you are married considered cheating? And if you cheated would you tell your significant other? I believe that honesty is key in relationships, and communication goes right along with that nifty concept. You have to be 100% honest with the person in which you are in a relationship with, especially if you are expecting it  to be reciprocated.

Seeing this film sparked my interest in the show even more. It made me wonder what were these women like previous to  being married, successful, with families. So I am going to watch one show at a time, starting with season one episode one.

So without giving too much of the film away, always remember to be modest, be honest and make legal purchases.

Peace out girl scout!

Hey, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving your lovely comments. You have a great review too! You’ve made really good points about another thing I love about SATC — the life lessons. There’s always a gem of wisdom to take away. Hope you enjoy the series. The first season starts out a little slow, but stick with it, it only gets better and better!

    L 🙂
